Hi Again....

After a long break from the pc, I'm back :p...I got into SRJC...not too bad a school...Made alot of new friends considering that there were only about 5 people from KCP there...Orientation was a blast but its been long gone...I'm taking H2 chem, physics and maths with H1 literature...I find physics being the toughest so far but its all good...Though its the holidays, still need to go back school...urgh tomorrow report at 7.45 leh!! Gone to the IT convention thingy yesterday...saw a few familiar faces which reminded me that i got a stagnant blog lol...Got a new laptop...Sony Vaio...and oh yes...it's PINK! Now thanks to my sis both my laptop and iPod match...geeze...

Finally...

Though its kinda late...Happy New Year :p Finally, I have the time to get back on the computer lol... O' Level results are out already...I think I did ok though I'm not too stoked about it :p but at least I can go to a JC :p Still on trials at CJC...will get the result of that probably by this Wednesday so I'm not sure if I could go to Sentosa this Tuesday... Its time for jogging now so goodbye :p

Hectic Hectic Days Ahead

The past few days have been very busy...shopping, parties...you can name it :p I shan't go into details cause that would take forever...I just wanna wish y'all a very Merry Christmas :) And sorry I couldn't make it on Monday...I asked you out to Orchard but had no reply :(

The Calling

Just when I felt that being a tutor is fabulous, disaster struck. I got a call from Remy, Winnie's aunt, at 10 in the morning. Still feeling groggy, I answered the call...

'Eh, Darren...Today my husband's company is having a dinner and dance so today Winnie won't be free for tuition..So tomorrow 10-12 ok?'

OH NO! Not only did I lose 2 hours today, I will probably lose 2 hours on Sat and Sun as I was told that there would be 4 hours on weekends... In another word, I lost $240 :(

I went to Orchard at about 3...nothing new there...came back about 9 and planned for tomorrow morning...I'm gonna ask for another hour on Sat and Sun cause I doubt there would be enough time for me to complete the syllabus for Winnie's test on Monday...Hopefully, Remy will agree :p

Say Cheese!

This afternoon, I had to go for my God-father's wedding photoshoot...We decided to have another photoshoot cause the photos took during the wedding was really pathetic and there weren't any that would be nice to really bloom it up...So i got into my vest and my coat and headed to the Studio...The studio was soooo queer...There was this kinda stale smell and the place wasn't as big as we expected...Nonetheless, the pictures were taken...can't post them yet cause they are not ready :p Spent the entire evening preparing for tomorrow's session with Winnie :p

My First Pay Ever

I spent the entire time this afternoon preparing a 2-hour tuition session...You have no idea how tough it can be lol...Printed out some worksheets...I had negotiated my charges and reached an agreement of $40 an hour...not bad huh? I reached Melrose Park at about 6.45...The apartment was on the 10th floor...quite well done...I met Winnie ( thats her real name :p) The kid was like super-smart so I had it off easy =D...I told Remy, Winnie's aunt, that I preferred collecting the payment after every session and ta-da $80 sitting nicely in my wallet :p Was quite pleased with myself as I could tell that I made a good first impression today...Yippie! =D

Tuition Anyone?

What a busy past few days! Yesterday, I went to Raffles City...the shops there were not so happening to say the least...After about an hour there, even my mum wanted to go to Peninsula Shopping Centre to get my skinnies... We went to the shop and I tried on a few pairs to check out the size as well as the colour compatibility. The saleperson's name was ChoCho lol...In the end, I bought a white pair, a red pair and a royal blue pair while my sis bought a pinkish pair and a royal blue pair to match mine :p When we got home, I realised that ChoCho had mixed up my royal blue skinnies with a purple one...Oh no! So I went back there today with Bryan and Irfan to get it changed =D Then, we went to St. Wilfrid's Sports Complex to watch the match between KCPSS and Chong Boon...KCP won 6-2...The other team was really quite pathetic cause Prasad played and scored for them and the other goal was from a poorly-struck penalty kick...still wondering how Galen let both the goals in... Then, I got a call from my aunt...Theres this 8-year old girl who came to Singapore to study but she has to pass a test before she could enter a local school and she needs a crash-course...so now I'm a tutor :p Her mum is Indonesian and her dad is Norwegian...So if theres anyone who needs a Primary-2 Mathematics tutor and is willing to pay $30 an hour...please feel free to approach me :)
